Nicole Sharlow is a native of Rochester, NY. An active performer, she is currently principal second violin of the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra in Harrisburg, PA. Habituated to leadership, she has been concertmaster of the Schleswig Holstein Festival Orchestra in Germany and principal second violin of the Jerusalem International Symphony Orchestra, among many others. Since 2001 Ms. Sharlow has been spending her summers in residence at Quisisana Resort in Maine, performing chamber music. Dedicated to the genre, she has won the Silberman Chamber Music Competition and the Lilian Fuchs Chamber Music Recital Honor. She has performed with Trio Solas, the Claremont Ensemble and Fireworks, all dedicated to 20th century music. In addition to her devotion to chamber music, she has appeared as soloist with the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic and the National Repertory Orchestra.
A gied educator, Ms. Sharlow is the head of the String Department at the Larchmont Music Academy where she teaches violin, viola and chamber music. She also maintains a private teaching studio comprised of students from the New York City area as well as summer students in Maine. Ms. Sharlow earned her Master of Music in violin performance from the Manhattan School of Music and her Bachelor of Arts from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her foremost teachers have included Andres Cardenes, concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony, and Lucie Robert. Nicole currently resides in Westchester County with her dog, Kezar.

Joseph Dermody, native Rhode Islander, has always been a multi-disiplinary artist. His international art and music careers run simultaneously strong and greatly influence one another. As a performer he currently performs with the Greenwich, and Ridgefield Symphonies in southwestern CT. Previously he has performed with Westchester Chamber, Norwalk Symphony, Connecticut Grand Opera, in addition to acting as principal violist for the Bridgeport symphony, Chelsea Symphony, Garden State Philharmonic and the Park Avenue Chamber Orchestra of NYC. As a chamber musician he has toured North America and Europe and played on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher, Alice Tully and Radio City Music Hall to name a few. He has also performed at the prestigious Banff music festival in Canada, toured Austria performing Mendelsohon's Octet and in 2013 was chosen to perform Joacim Turina's "Scene Andalouse" as a featured soloist at the 'Redwood Library and Athenaeum Concert series' in Newport, RI.
Mr. Dermody received a Bachelors of music from Rhode Island College studying with John Sumerlin, Guildhall School of Music in London with Mark Knight and a Masters of Music in Viola Performance from the Conservatory at Purchase College, NY with Ira Weller of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. As an educator Mr. Dermody maintains a full private studio in Greenwich, CT and is on faculty as director of strings at Rye Country Day School, Rye, NY and Concordia College, Bronxville, NY.
Cellist and New York native, Adriana Maria Pera, has established herself as equally at home in many genres of music. As a performer, she has been a cellist with the Slee Sinfonietta, Principal Cellist with the Symphony Orchestras of Toronto and Buffalo Universities, and a member of the Parkdale Revolutionary Orchestra - a contemporary rock band. Ms. Pera has participated in the International Bach Festival, directed by Maestro Helmuth Rilling, and at the "June in Buffalo" Series, an annual festival of contemporary music hosting notables such as Steve Reich.
Passionate about new music, she has performed Augusta Read Thomas' cello concerto, Passion Prayers and the world premiere of Vanity of the Heavens by Yoshiko Ando at THE SOUNDLAB. She also lead a performance of Boulez's Mesagessaquisse - a cello septet. An engaging chamber musician, Ms. Pera has performed with many ensembles and been coached by the Orion and St. Lawrence String Quartets, Gryphon Trio, and has performed for Janos Starker, Leon Fleisher Fred Sherry, and Menahem Pressler among others. In 2012 she embarked on an epic journey along side her former teacher Jonathan Golove performing Sofia Gubaidulina's cello quartet, Quaternion both at the University at Buffalo and at a theater, video, dance and music installation that took place inside a marine grain elevator called "American Grain".
She eceived a Bachelor of Music from the University at Buffalo, a Master of Music from the University of Toronto, studying with Jonathan Golove and Shauna Rolston, respectively. Doctoral studies at the University of Toronto with David Hetherington of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. And an Artist Diploma from Purchase College with Julia Lichten of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. A dedicated educator, Ms. Pera maintains a private studio in addition to teaching cello, chamber music and music theory at the Music Conservatory of Westchester.
